The company has
started rolling out new features to
beta testers of iOS mobile OS and macOS Sierra, ahead of upcoming Apple’s iPhone event going to be held on
September 7th.
Apple Music’s new playlists was originally
introduced at Worldwide Developers Conference in June, held this year. It is
launched as a direct challenge to Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” playlist.
Apple is launching it with the tag “My New Music Mix”, which will be updated
every Fridyay with new songs and tunes.
At the launch event , Worldwide Developers
Conference it was showcased with the tag “Discovery Mix”, but I think later
Apple realised that it was way similar to Spotify’s “Discover Weekly” and
rebranded it as “My New Music Mix”.
In the Music app, under ‘For You’
option “My New Music Mix ” can be found, currently offering 25 tracks which is
based over your listening history.
Enjoy Music on the go!
